Havre de Grace Dancers

MODERN/LYRICAL

Modern/lyrical dance classes are for children ages 8 and up (must be entering third grade in the fall) with at least 2 years dance experience, with 1 of the years being ballet.

​

This style of contemporary dance centers on a dancer's own interpretations instead of structured steps.  Dancers express their inner emotions and convey this to their audience.

BALLET

Ballet classes are for children ages 4 and up (by December 31st of that dance season). 

​

This style of dance is a very formal and strict type of performance dance.  Dancers will learn
